Manufacturing / Process Devleopment Associate, Cell Culture
Primary Responsibilities / Reporting Requirements: Assist in manufacturing of the HepatoPac platform of products,, including seeding and maintaining human and mammalian cell cultures, micro-fabrication polymer casting, media preparation, cell based assays/tests, sample collection and general laboratory and equipment maintenance. Document production (SOPs and Batch Records) and inventory control activities. Utilize aseptic technique conducting cell culture process steps in biological safety cabinets. Troubleshoot process problems. Perform process optimization and product development experiments. The position is open for a daytime shift, but a flexible work schedule is required to meet project/production demands. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing and Process Development.
Primary Responsibilities: Successful candidates will work collaboratively with and be trained by our experienced scientists. Conduct in vitro hepatocyte cell biology contract research for pharmaceutical clients utilizing proprietary HepatoPac® technology for DMPK and Tox applications. Responsibilities include execution of cell based assays (ELISA, colorimetric), PCR, compound dosing, prepares stock chemical solutions, radioisotope solutions, sample collection, documentation, and data analysis. Utilize aseptic technique conducting cell culture process steps in biological safety cabinets. Troubleshoot application problems and perform application optimization experiments. Operate laboratory equipment; contributes to laboratory maintenance. Position requires the ability to work in a team oriented environment. The position is open for a daytime shift, but a flexible work schedule is required to meet project demands. Some travel may be required.
Associate Manager: Sales Support and Logistics
Primary Responsibilities: Provide scientific sales support to clients who would like to purchase our proprietary HepatoPac® micro-patterned co-culture products, and manage the logistics from ordering to delivery of the product. Responsibilities include follow-up with customers interested in ordering product, coordinating the generation of study designs and product configuration with client and Ascendance scientists, coordinating with Ascendance manufacturing for scheduling and filling the order, and help manage the logistics for delivery to the customer. Responsibilities also include customer training both in person and by web meeting presentations. The position requires the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. The position is open for a daytime shift, but a flexible work schedule is required to meet project demands. Travel is required.
